Originally from Hyogo, Japan, Satone grew up surrounded by two worlds. Alongside Japanese culture, she was deeply influenced by the sounds of Black music through her family's connection to West Texas. Gospel, soul, jazz, and R&B became more than genres, they became the language through which she learned to express herself.

Her musical journey began in church, singing gospel as a child before joining the renowned Soul Bird Teen Choir, where she performed on stages including Billboard Live Osaka. At just 19 years old, she traveled to Harlem, New York, seeking to experience the birthplace of the music that had shaped her. Auditioning at the legendary Apollo Theater became a defining milestone, one that strengthened her commitment to building a career rooted in authenticity rather than imitation.

That same spirit continues to shape her music today.

Creating More Than Songs

Satone's artistry blends timeless soul influences with contemporary R&B, cinematic storytelling, and theatrical performance. Inspired by productions like Burlesque and the iconic energy of Lady Marmalade, she creates music that feels like stepping into a film where every song is a scene and every performance tells a larger story.

Satone's latest single, "c.a.S.I.N.o," marks the beginning of an exciting new creative era.

Serving as the opening chapter of her upcoming theatrical EP, the record explores the idea that love can feel like a game of chance filled with uncertainty, temptation, manipulation, and emotional risk.
